After one year of publishing my blog book Style and Concept by Rita Roland Volume 1
A blog book for your World of style. We are so happy because this call for celebration right, so me and some of my friends got together to celebrate, a lot of my friends,fans and sponsors could not make it to be present physically, but they send their love and support.

I am very grateful for the love that my book has received this has encouraged me to write my second book Style and concept by Rita Roland Volume 2. A blog book where fashion met self-esteem.
Looking forward to having the hard copy in my hands.

It was a very nice party my guest were very supportive, and they enjoyed every moment of it, there was a lot to eat and drink. We laughed, danced, joked, got naughty etc……………………..
They cannot wait to come back again to celebrate with us for the second book, so if you did not make it no worries.

These blog book is an insight about my fashion style. I want to share my innovative ideas about fashion with my friends and fans. It is all about that woman who walks into a room and light up the whole place. She is sexy, sensual, elegant, glamorous and above all she is bold and beautiful. She is that woman whose beauty comes from within. As you will discover in this journey, she is a lover of the color red and white, that is why red and white is the most used outfit

What do we know about lovers of red:

  • Lovers of red are extrovert, optimistic, courageous and confident.
  • They are action oriented people with a strong survival instinct and a very competitive mind and loves to win.
  • They gain the respect of others quite easily.
  • They are passionate about life and are not afraid to pursue their dreams and goals.
  • Patience is not one of their strongest point. They can flare up instantaneously but calm down quite quickly.

LIFE IS A FESTIVAL

Easter is the time to rejoice and be thankful for the gift of life, love and joy.

When choosing your Easter outfit, it is important to keep colour, comfort and location in mind.

For your Easter outfit you can choose spring colours which reflect the colour of the blooming trees and flowers of the spring.

You would also choose the colour that flatter your skin tone.

It is also important to choose shoes which you are comfortable in and a bit edgy.

You also have to bear in mind where  your Easter event is going to take place so that you dont over dress or undress.

The more you celebrate and praise yourseif the more there is to celebrate.

During Easter period family visit each other and take time to do things together and for the children it is extra special because they get to pick Easter eggs and children like this a lot.

This is also the period for the christian to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christian believes that Jesus came back to life, or was raised from the dead the third day after his death on the cross, that through this Jesus paid for their sins, so this festival is highly celebrated by the Christian.

It is also an opportunity to dress gorgeous and look beautiful, so choose an outfit that look good on you.

When Fur comes to mind you will be thinking of glamour, extravagance, vintage and celebrities.

Fur keeps you warm in the harsh winter months but a lot of people feel cruel and unfair about the danger to innocent animals that is why faux fur exist for people who dont want to have this feeling of guilt or empty their bank account.

There are a lot of ways to incorporate faux fur in your wardrobe.

The versatile way is to get a faux fur coat because these keep you warm and cosy and it is also a statement piece in your wardrobe, you can wear it with jeans for a casual look or with dinner dress for evening look.

EVENT VENUE SALONSMANTOVANI

Salons Mantovani is a luxury event company which has an elegant traditional interior design.
This reflects the classic European decor, whereby pairing furniture or accessories to create a sense of symmetry around a vocal point or a favourite art work. This helps to emphasize luxury and comfort.
This style fit very well with the type of woman which we tend to inspire.

Salons Mantovani, as you know, is located in Oudenaarde (Oost-Vlaanderen) in “Belgium”
It was established by Mr. André Verhenne and Mr. Luc Verhenne.
The name Mantovani was an inspiration from the Anglo-Italian conductor, composer, Annunzio Paolo Mantovani who died in March 1980. As Mr. André Verhenne and Mr. Luc Verhenne were a huge fan of his work, they decided to name their business after him, thus the birth of Salons Mantovani in September 1980.
During this period in Oudenaarde, there was no multifunctional halls for the dance school. André and Luc decided to contribute to the community by establishing this type of event venue. This made the Mayor of Oudenaarde very proud and happy to have such citizen in his community.
Salons Mantovani render services from meeting halls, wedding, and all type of events you can think of. They have a wonderful team of workers who are dedicated to their job. It is a place where the satisfaction of their client meets their ultimate goal. It is different from all other event venue because they cater for their clients’ needs from A-Z. It is a one stop shopping place for your events.
There are different halls all named after Queens e.g. Hall Paola, Hall Alexandra, Hall Diana and the Foyer which is a general meeting place for lunch. Hall Diana  got our attention because it is named after Luc Verhenne’s mother Diana. This hall is about 625m² and can accommodate 700 people.
Luc Verhenne’s mother Diana was a Queen in the sense that she was always ready to help whenever necessary. She was a woman whose charm and charisma would not be underestimated. She contributed enormously to the success of the business. That is why her legacy will linger on.

“The elegant traditional style of Salons Mantovani is going to be kept.” says  Luc Verhenne and we agree because the atmosphere is very comfortable and give a good luxurious feel.

We also wish that Salons Mantovani does more house catering, since the halls are always booked and not all of us has the privilege to be there with the house catering we can have a taste of their delicious food.

THE BEAUTY OF THE AUTUMN

Autumn is one of my favorite season of the year, when all the leaves from the trees and plants change their color into Multi colored work of art. It is very beauty sight.

For me been a Nigerian this is very amazing to see in my country we don’t have it.

This beautiful season represent a beautiful cycle of loss, regeneration and regrowth. The dead leaves on the ground disintegrate and turn into part of the soil which becomes fertilizer.

This season is perfect for taking beautiful scenic pictures.

It is very relaxing and rejuvenating to enjoy the nature and the surrounding scenery.

It is a perfect time to take out the coat, light the fire place and it is also a time to go camping, fishing or road trip etc.

The purple multicolored dress fit very well with the scenery since purple symbolizing creativity, wisdom and dignity it was a very nice choose of color for this shoot.

Hello fashionistas do you love dramatic outfit?

These blue ruffle dress which is very striking screams sophistication, elegance and power.

It just say hello here I am.

It is the center of attention when you wear it to a red carpet event.
You know what some times we have to go all the way to create special effect and these type of dress is just the perfect choice.

I when for the blue color because blue is a very cool and calming color that show creativity, intelligence, freedom, imagination and inspiration.  It also goes very well with the dark skin.
This dramatic outfit symbolize that we don’t have  limit in our dreams and creativity.

THE AFRICAN HEADTIE

The head tie or head wrap originated in Sub Sahara Africa and was used to convey spirituality and prosperity. The head tie is a way that the African use nonverbally communicated their place in life, to tell if she is a widow, grandmother or a young married woman. Tying a piece of cloth around the head is not specific to any cultural group, what is culturally specific is the way the fabric is tied and the type of fabric used.

The European or white American women fords a square piece of fabrics into a triangular shape and cover her hair by tying the fabric under the chic or at the nape of the neck.

While the woman from African ancestry folds the fabrics into a rectilinear shape, rather than tying the knot under the chic she ties the knot somewhere on the crown of her head. She leaves her fore head open this enhance the facial features.

During the slavery the white Lords imposed the wear of head wraps as a badge of enslavement.
In Nigeria head tie are known as GELE and can be rather large and elaborate it can be worn every day but the elaborate one’s like the one I am wearing are used for special events.

It is made of material which is firmer than the regular cloth. It is tied to cover the whole hair, the only part exposed is the face and the earrings.

The GELE is worn with traditional attire.

Today the head tie is worn by the African woman as a Queen might wear her crown.

WHAT INSPIRE ME TO START MY BLOG

Rita Why did you start blogging ?

I noticed that women from the age of 30 and above did not like to dress feminine and sexy or even talk about fashion any more they are carried away with work and raising the kids that they give excuses why they don’t like to dress up or dress extravagent.

In short the extravagant fashion thing was a no go area because they consider it too materialistic and lack of depth, don’t even talk about standing out because they all wanted to fit in.

As a fashion advocate I decided to start a movement where it is OK for women from the age of 30 to dress feminine, sexy and extravagant without fear of been judged.

This is what Style and Concept by Rita Roland is all about.

As a creative person talking about it was not good enough women had to see it, so the blog gave me the platform to share my creative work with women all over the World.

Due to the fact that my blog show case different style of fashion this help women to get inspiration from the type of look which is most appealing to them. What is consistence about this diversity in my fashion style is the sexiness, elegance and glamour.

I get my inspiration from music, traveling or just talking with people.

I like to keep it real this is because I am a very down to earth person ( who loves to keep a little heaven) and also I love to live a life of truth, that is why I encourage women to embrace who they are without fear of been judged.

In between my busy life as a host in a luxury event company .

I take time out to write my articles and do the photo shoots for my blog.

I love using pictures to tell my stories that is why location, styling, attitude and atmosphere is very important  in my photo shoots and my writing.

I go into the world telling women about dressing sexy, glamorous, elegant and to be confident because self-esteem and a smile is the best outfit you can ever wear.
